I've been noticing fellow bloggers talk about other kinds of blogging platforms - and I think this one is fine for my needs. I like the new template designer, and this one will suit me just fine for now.
The word verification and variation used can easily be changed under settings -> comments. I would NOT recommend that the verification be removed cause you will get a lot of junk comments. Some browsers have problems with some of the comment verification placement.

Me too. I don't like the WORD VERIFICATION you have to go thru for every comment post though. There seem to be several variations of it.
I guess it encourages us to have patients!
