About 15 miles southeast of Taylor Park, past the old mining town of Tincup, is Mirror Lake. It sits at 11,000 feet, and has a small Forest Service campground (with no water). It's also one of Don's favorite lakes to float. He caught several dozen fish - mostly rainbows, but a few brookies, and I sat and read and cross stitched. It was a wonderful way to spend the day.
